English IR(ME)R is UK-specific legislation and your FD may not be covered by undergraduate training programmes delivered outside the UK. All FDs must complete an IR(ME)R course prior to prescribing, taking and interpreting radiographs. Many will have done this as an undergraduate.
IR(ME)R training can be accessed free of charge within the FD training programme via Dental Juce (which all FDs will have access too)
